- Users believe they receive value and are satisfied
- The IT organization is recognized as efficient & cost effective
- The leader is a good communicator and is respected by subordinates, peers, and top management
- The department is viewed by outsiders as being “well run”
- There are clear lines of responsibility which are well understood, with no gaps and few overlaps
- The IT staff:
- Find their work challenging and rewarding
- Know what is expected of them
- Know their responsibilities
- Receive constant feedback – they always know where they stand
- Are empowered to take action when necessary
- Believe they are treated fairly and their contributions valued
